Page 1Once you have created a document in WordPad, you can change the text to make it look more attractive. You can change the sizes, styles, fonts and color of text in your document. Page 2First let's change the font of your text. To do so, select some text. Page 5To change the color of the text, select it and click on the Color icon . Page 6Choose the color you want, and the color of the selected text is changed. Page 7Let's now change the size of that text. Select the text and click on the Font size pulldown. Page 10You can choose to make the text bold. To do so, select the text and click on the bold icon. Page 11You can also make it appear italic by clicking on the italic icon. Page 13Now you can see that you have the selected text bolded, italicized, and underlined, with the color you choose, and the size and font of your choice. Page 14The steps that were just shown can be used with any selected text. You can select, words, sentences, paragraphs, or parts of any of these. Page 16To center a paragraph, select the text and click on the centre icon. Page 18You can left-align or right-align a paragraph by following the same steps as in the preceding example, but then clicking on the right-align or left-align buttons in the toolbar. |
